The Advance line of pumps is made up of three distinct families.  Each family (Advance 1000, 3000, and 4000) are rugged, efficient pumps designed to operate under a wide variety of flow rates and pressure situations, all while maintaining the consistent flow required for your facility.  For sizing and pricing, please review the information below, and give us a call to discuss your project needs!

  • Advance 1000: The Advance 1000 is molded out of high-quality glass-filled Noryl®, which gives it many advantages. It has good resistance to most acids, alkalis, and inorganics. Noryl® has excellent tensile strength, very low water absorption, and a continuous temperature rating of 194° F.

We also offer the Advance 1000 line in polypropylene. The design of the pump, coupled with the chosen resins, produces a strong, durable, versatile unit. When used with the patented Impenatra® seal, the fluid pumped does not contact any metal parts. This allows it to properly handle many applications at a fraction of the cost of exotic alloys.

  • Advance 3000: The Advance 3000 is a close coupled, end suction centrifugal pump line which is molded in Noryl®. Its high-efficiency design makes it suitable for medium flows [to 60 GPM] and higher heads [up to 160’TDH]. When fitted with the patented Impenatra® Seal, the Advance 3000 provides total non-metallic contact, while maintaining the benefits of a direct drive unit. Flows up to 60 GPM and head pressures up to 67 PSI.

  • Advance 4000: The Advance 4000 is a close coupled, end suction centrifugal pump line which is molded in glass-filled polypropylene. Its high-efficiency design makes it suitable for medium flows [to 200 GPM] and higher heads [up to 80’ TDH]. When fitted with the patented Impenatra® Seal, the Advance 4000 provides total non-metallic contact, while maintaining the benefits of a direct drive unit.

Additional Details

  • Often the best design is also the simplest. And the Advance line by MDM is no exception. The hydraulic wet end consists of only three major components: casing, impeller and a mounting bracket. The impeller is directly attached to the motor shaft and threaded against rotation.
  • The Advance product line is molded out of high-quality glass-filled polymer, which gives it many advantages. It has good resistance to most acids, alkalis and inorganics. This polymer has excellent tensile strength, very low water absorption, and a continuous temperature rating of 194° F.
  • Engineered for high efficiency, Advance impellers are available as semi-open or enclosed to accommodate a wide variety of flows, pressures and fluids.
  • The pump can be close coupled to a 56J motor or mounted to a bearing pedestal. Both single and three phase motors in ODP and TEFC enclosures are readily available. An adapter kit is available to convert a 56C keyed-shaft motor to a 56J mount. A variety of elastomers, seals, impellers, and motors, can be combined to meet your exact requirements. All units are bench tested prior to shipping.
